Employment
Full-time

Turn partner integrations into merchants who pay every month. Own partner go-live, activation campaigns and the commercial funnel, working directly with Zeal’s Co-founder and CEO and alongside our existing Founder’s Associate.

About the role

Zeal is the value-added-services layer for payment terminals. We are hardware- and acquirer-agnostic. A payment provider integrates Zeal once, and its merchants can switch on services that help them win repeat customers and understand their trade, on the card machines they already use.

We grow through partners, not merchant by merchant. We integrate with payment service providers (PSPs) and acquirers, then help them activate their merchants. We have 4 million payment terminals in our pipeline, more than 30,000 merchants activated and $14M raised to date. Our team works across London and Cairo.

This is a go-to-market (GTM) role. Your job is to turn partner integrations into merchants who pay every month. You'll report to Omar Ebeid, our Co-founder and CEO, and work side by side with our existing Founder's Associate in a small team that moves fast. You'll get partners live, help their merchants become paying users and keep our GTM sharp.

Based at Uncommon Holborn, London, in the office five days a week. Start as soon as possible. You'll need the right to work in the UK.

You'll work directly with our Co-founder and CEO, with real ownership of revenue from your first month.

If you meet most of the requirements but not all of them, we'd still like to hear from you.

We'll agree references with you first and won't contact your current employer without your permission.

We welcome applications from everyone, including people with characteristics protected under the Equality Act 2010. If you need adjustments during the process, let the hiring team know.

What you’ll do

  • Run partner integrations end to end, from scope to go-live.
  • Keep partner, product and tech teams working to one plan.
  • Own partner updates, risks and go-live readiness.
  • Own the funnel for each live PSP and acquirer partner, from merchants enabled to merchants paying.
  • Run activation campaigns with partners and their merchants.
  • Equip partner sales teams and feed blockers back to product.
  • Build decks, one-pagers, case studies and proposals.
  • Keep HubSpot, our CRM and system of record, accurate and trusted.
  • Support the pipeline with research, meeting prep, follow-ups and events.
  • Pick up founder priorities as they come.

What you’ll bring

  • Around 3 to 5 years running complex projects with several parties in payments, fintech, SaaS, consulting or a startup.
  • A track record of taking something from plan to launch, leading people you don't manage.
  • Commercial and numerate: able to build funnels, read the data and change course.
  • Clear, structured writing and the presence to manage senior partners.
  • Technical enough to follow an integration—APIs, testing and releases—without writing code.
  • Daily use of AI tools to research, write, analyse and automate, with independent judgement and verification.
  • Able to set your own structure, follow through and work with colleagues and partners across time zones.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

  • Experience with PSPs, acquirers, independent sales organisations (ISOs), payment terminals or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Partner enablement, channel sales or partner success experience.
  • Lifecycle or activation marketing: email campaigns, A/B tests and funnels.
  • HubSpot sequences, workflows and dashboards.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Progress you can measure.

Success is measured by net new active merchants—merchants actively using Zeal through the partners you manage, counted by merchant ID (MID)—and recurring monthly revenue from the merchants you help activate. Along the way, integrations go live on the agreed date, conversion rises every quarter and HubSpot is a pipeline the whole team trusts.

How we’ll get to know you.

Five clear steps, with a person reviewing your progress at every stage. Start with your Loom introduction; you only prepare an assessment after the team invites you.

Record a 90-second Loom explaining why you are the right fit for Zeal and this particular role. Share relevant experience and what you would bring to the team.

  2. An introduction with Zeal

If the hiring team moves you forward, we unlock a private booking link for a 30-minute introduction with a Zeal teammate. Get to know the role, share your experience and ask us questions.

  3. Your private assessment

After the introduction, the team decides whether to unlock your role-specific assessment. Your brief, materials and submission form appear only after approval. We email you when it is ready.

  4. Your assessment conversation

If your submitted assessment progresses, we email you a private link to book a 30-minute walkthrough. Talk us through your decisions, discuss trade-offs and explore your questions with the team.

  5. Your decision

The Zeal team reviews the evidence and sends you an acceptance or rejection email. If there is a mutual fit, we share the next steps directly.
