A world of data lies within every transaction

At Zeal, we believe in the power of data to transform businesses: creating growth, deeper customer connections, and real value.
Many businesses overlook the potential within their transactional data. We’re on a mission to change that, helping merchants recognise and engage their customers, payment providers deliver smarter value-added services, and customers enjoy effortless, personalised experiences.

A future full of Zeal

Our vision is to become the global data intelligence infrastructure for card machine transactions, opening limitless potential for businesses worldwide.

Turning missed opportunities into new possibilities

Every untracked transaction is a missed opportunity. We envision a world where smarter card machines drive business growth, helping merchants better serve their customers.

The story

How Zeal started and where we’re headed

2019
The beginning

Zeal was founded by Omar Ebeid and Bellal Mohamed with a vision: to open new opportunities for businesses through their card machines.

Seeing how many merchant services are complex, fragmented, and outdated, leaving merchants with limited options, we saw an opportunity to change that. This was just the start of something big.

2020-2021

With a strong vision in place, we focused on building the foundation of Zeal. Our team worked tirelessly to build Zeal’s core technology, and we were recognised by Visa as an up-and-coming solution.

Our decisions were made with merchants in mind, ensuring a frictionless experience for customers from the ground up. We refined our infrastructure, strengthened security, and laid the groundwork for future scalability.

2022-2023

We moved beyond development and into real-world testing, with Ingenico as a strategic partner.

Businesses started experiencing Zeal firsthand, helping us refine our product. Merchant feedback became our greatest asset, guiding key improvements. At the same time, we navigated the complexities of the payments industry, ensuring Zeal could integrate smoothly with payment providers.

2024 onwards

This marked a major leap forward for Zeal. We secured partnerships with Mellon, Castles, and other industry leaders.

We received industry awards that recognised our innovation and impact. Our team grew, bringing in world-class talent to scale our vision even further. Businesses across industries now trust Zeal as the go-to data intelligence solution for their card machines.
