Every receipt is a branding moment
Zeal turns the receipts issued at the terminal into an owned channel. Providers and merchants brand every digital receipt, and each one carries offers and the customer's loyalty status alongside the transaction, on the terminals already in the field.
The World's #1 VAS Solution on Payment Terminals

Your brand, on every transaction
Every payment already produces a receipt. Zeal makes it carry your branding and your merchant's, turning a piece of paperwork into a touchpoint the customer actually keeps.

A receipt that works harder
Alongside the transaction detail, each receipt can show the customer's loyalty balance, the reward they just earned and the offer that brings them back. It is marketing delivered at the exact moment of purchase.
No new hardware, no new flow
Branded receipts run on the card machines already deployed across your estate. Nothing changes about the payment itself, and there is nothing new for the merchant to install or learn.

The most-read document your merchants produce
No other document a merchant produces comes close on frequency or attention: a receipt is issued at every card payment and read at the counter, by the exact customer the merchant wants back. Zeal turns that slip into an owned channel that carries the merchant's brand, their customer's live loyalty status and a next-visit offer, printed by the terminal already sitting on the counter.
Every transaction ends with a receipt, and almost every receipt is wasted: an unbranded slip that communicates nothing and is binned at the door. Multiply that by every till in your estate, every day of the year, and it adds up to millions of customer touches a year given away for free.
Zeal turns the receipt into an owned channel. Providers and merchants brand the receipts issued at the terminal, and each one can carry more than the transaction detail: the customer's loyalty balance, the reward they have just earned and the offer designed to bring them back next week.
Timing is what makes it work. A receipt is read at the exact moment of purchase, by a customer who has just spent money with the merchant. A loyalty balance shown at the moment it changed feels like service rather than advertising, and an offer delivered at the till reaches the customer while the visit is still fresh.
It all runs on the card machines already deployed across your estate. Nothing changes about the payment itself, there is no new hardware, and the channel belongs to you and your merchants rather than to a social platform or an ad network.
What does a branded receipt actually contain?
Everything the standard slip already carries, plus the parts that bring a customer back. The items, prices and total stay exactly as required. Around them sit the merchant's logo, the customer's live loyalty position and a next-visit offer with its terms printed in full. At BRGR, the till goes further still: 100% of customers are identified as new or returning at the moment they pay.
None of it asks the customer to do anything at the counter. The terminal issues the receipt as part of the payment, so there is no app to download and no form to fill in. Across roughly 5,000 merchants using Zeal, receipts issued this way have created more than 95,000 customer profiles, each one starting from an ordinary card payment.
How do offers on receipts come back as visits?
The loop is deliberately short. An offer prints on the receipt at the till, the customer brings it back, and the redemption is recorded at the same terminal that issued it. There is no coupon site in the middle and no promo code to mistype: the till that opens the campaign is the till that closes it.
That makes measurement honest. Results are counted in redemptions rather than impressions, so a merchant sees precisely how many printed offers became paid visits, and contact details are only ever collected with the customer's consent. For restaurants the pattern holds: merchants running receipt campaigns with Zeal see 15% more repeat visits.
Why do providers white-label the receipt?
Because the receipt is the one thing the terminal produces that ends up in the shopper's hand. A white-labelled receipt carries the provider's service out of the acquiring stack and into daily view, under each merchant's own brand. For acquirers, ISOs and payfacs, that turns a commodity terminal estate into something merchants can see, name and would miss, which is rare differentiation in a market that competes on basis points.
It also asks nothing of the estate. Branded receipts run on the terminals already in the field, live today with Elavon, Worldpay, Lloyds Cardnet and NMI as gateway. Zeal identifies the customer when the card is presented, before the transaction; payment processes exactly as today; no recertification, no second authorisation, no added scheme fees; redemption follows card scheme rules with one settled transaction.
What is a branded digital receipt?
A branded digital receipt is a receipt issued by the payment terminal at the moment of payment, carrying the merchant's brand, the customer's loyalty status and a next-visit offer. It is delivered as the merchant's own channel rather than a generic slip: the transaction detail stays exactly as required, and the document keeps working for the merchant after the sale.
What a branded receipt cannot do
It is not a marketing database on its own: reach grows with transactions, so a quiet till means a quiet channel, and an audience builds only as fast as customers visit. It cannot rescue a poor in-store experience, because an offer only brings back people who were happy to return in the first place. And the regulated parts of the slip are left alone: fiscal and regulatory receipt fields stay exactly as required, and are never redesigned away to make room for marketing.
Branded receipt FAQs
Do branded receipts need new hardware?
No. Branded receipts run on the payment terminals merchants already use, and rollout happens remotely across the estate. There is nothing to install in store and no engineer visit: the terminal that printed yesterday's plain slip prints tomorrow's branded one.
Who controls what the receipt says?
The merchant's brand and offers appear on the receipt, supplied through the provider's estate tools. Campaigns are configurable per branch, so a merchant with five sites can run one offer in a single location and a different offer everywhere else, while the fiscal content of the receipt stays untouched.
Do receipts work with loyalty?
Yes. The customer's stamp or points status prints on every receipt, so progress is visible at every visit without an app. Redemption follows card scheme rules with one settled transaction, which keeps reconciliation exactly as merchants know it today.
Can offers be measured?
Yes. Every campaign reports printed against redeemed, measured at the till where the receipt was issued. Because a redemption is a real transaction rather than a click, the numbers describe visits and revenue, not attention.
The quickest way to judge a branded receipt is to hold one. The brand is supplied through your estate tools, the totals stay the same, and the first one can print on hardware you already run.
