How can a restaurant run a loyalty scheme without an app?

With Zeal, the loyalty scheme runs on your card machine. Customers join in a couple of taps on the screen when they pay and are recognised from their card on every visit after that, so there is no app, QR code or stamp card to manage.

Does loyalty slow down paying the bill?

No. Recognition and rewards happen during the card payment, so service is not slowed down and staff do not need to ask for a phone number, an app or a card.

What can a restaurant learn from its card machine?

Zeal shows who is new and who is returning, how often each customer visits, what they spend, your busiest hours and who has quietly stopped coming in. You can then reward your best regulars and win back the ones who have lapsed.

Which card machines does Zeal work with?

Zeal works on supported card machines from Adyen, DNA Payments, Elavon, Lloyds Cardnet, NMI, Viva Wallet and Worldpay. If you use another provider, you can register your interest or switch to a Zeal-ready card machine.

Do my staff need training?

Hardly any. Customers join and are rewarded during the normal card payment, so staff do not need to scan codes, stamp cards or look up accounts.
